Printed code register
Keep a list of every sign with a QR code on it and the address each code should hold. Walk round, take a photo of each code, drop the photos here, and see which signs still hold what you printed, which hold something else, and which you haven't checked.
The list is saved in this browser only, and photos are decoded on your device. Nothing is uploaded and no link is opened. Download the CSV to keep a copy or move it to another device.
1. Your signs (0)
2. Photos from the walk-round
One photo per code, close enough that the code fills a good part of the picture. Add as many as you like.
or drag them here, or paste a screenshot (Ctrl+V / ⌘V).
Add your signs first, so there's something to match the photos against.
How the matching works
Each photo's code is read on your device and compared with the addresses on your register. Small differences that don't change where a link goes are ignored (capitals in the domain, www., https://left off). Everything else counts: the path, capitals in a short name (they're case-sensitive), tags on the end, http instead of https, and lookalike domains such as c1typark.org for citypark.org, which are flagged on their own.
A photo that matches marks its sign as checked today, and that date is saved with the register. Give each sign its own short link (one per window, pay machine or trail stop) and a photo always tells you which sign it was; it also gives you scan counts per sign, and a sign whose scans suddenly stop is the first one to walk to.
What this can't see: whether the address still opens the right page today. Run your addresses through the link list checker for that, and use the QR expiry check on any code made with a generator.
